1. About Us

Mother India School ("we", "us", "the Platform") is an educational services platform operated at motherindiatimes.com, providing homeschooling curriculum, live online classes, and learning materials for children in Classes Pre-Primary to Class 4.

2. Eligibility

• The person registering must be the parent or legal guardian of the child named in the registration form.
• By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of the child.
• Our services are designed for children between the ages of 3 and 10 years (Pre-Primary to Class 4).

3. Homeschooling & Legal Compliance

• Homeschooling is a lawful educational choice in India. Section 4 of the Right to Education (RTE) Act 2009 guarantees age-appropriate admission to any school at any time, protecting your child's ability to re-enter formal schooling.
• We do not issue Board-recognised certificates or class completion certificates. Parents are responsible for understanding and complying with the educational laws of their state or country of residence.
• For families outside India (UAE, Gulf, etc.), it is the parent's sole responsibility to ensure compliance with local educational laws and regulations.

4. Services Provided

Upon successful enrolment and payment, the following services are included:

• Access to live online classes (5 days/week as per schedule)
• NCERT-aligned curriculum materials and worksheets via the app
• Physical books and activity kits delivered to the registered address (India only; delivery timelines subject to courier availability)
• Access to the Mother India School mobile app (iOS and Android)
• Monthly progress tracking and parent dashboard
• Doubt-clearing sessions as scheduled

We reserve the right to modify, improve, or substitute any service component with reasonable notice to enrolled parents.

5. Fees & Payment

• All fees are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) or UAE Dirhams (AED) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payment is processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details.
• Your login credentials (User ID and Password) are your registered mobile number. Keep this confidential.
• Fees are due at the time of enrolment for the selected plan period (annual or quarterly).
• We reserve the right to revise fees for renewal periods with a minimum of 30 days' notice.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

• 7-day refund window: You may request a full refund within 7 days of payment, provided no books have been dispatched and fewer than 3 live class sessions have been attended.
• After 7 days: No refund will be issued. The enrolment remains active for the full paid period.
• To request a refund, email parentsnavigator@gmail.com with your Payment ID and reason within the 7-day window.
• Refunds, when approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
• Books that have been dispatched are non-returnable once shipped.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access without refund if a parent or child violates these Terms, engages in abuse toward staff, or misuses the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

• All content on the platform — including curriculum materials, videos, worksheets, and app content — is the intellectual property of Mother India School and is protected under applicable copyright laws.
• You may use the content solely for the personal, non-commercial education of the enrolled child.
• Redistribution, resale, screen-recording for commercial use, or sharing login credentials is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of access.

8. Conduct & Acceptable Use

• Parents and children must treat teachers and staff with respect during live classes and all communications.
• Recording of live sessions without prior written consent is not permitted.
• The platform may not be used for any unlawful purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the current subscription period.
• We are not liable for: interruptions due to internet connectivity issues on your end; delays in book delivery caused by couriers or force majeure; academic outcomes; or any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
• The platform is provided "as is". We make no guarantees regarding specific academic results.

10. Privacy

Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act). By enrolling, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled parents via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
• Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through direct communication.
• If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Beed, Maharashtra, India.

13. Free Resources — Quiz Zone & Activity Hub

• The Quiz Zone and Parent Activity Hub are provided free of charge for general educational and entertainment purposes only, for visitors and enrolled families alike.
• Quiz content (questions, scores, "stars" and badges) is for engagement and informal practice only and does not constitute a formal assessment, certification, or guarantee of academic level or progress.
• Activity Hub suggestions involve everyday household items, craft materials, water, and outdoor play. A parent or responsible adult must supervise all activities at all times. We are not responsible for any injury, allergic reaction, property damage, or loss arising from a parent's or child's use of any activity suggestion.
• Always check materials for choking hazards, allergens, and age-appropriateness for your specific child before beginning any activity.
• Scores and progress shown in the Quiz Zone are stored only in your own browser (locally) and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

• The Platform, including all content, curriculum materials, live classes, the app, Quiz Zone, and Activity Hub, is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• We make no representation regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any educational content for a particular child's needs.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mother India School, the Mother India Today (MIT) Group, and their respective officers, employees, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use or misuse of the Platform, Quiz Zone, or Activity Hub; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) any injury, loss, or damage arising from activities undertaken based on suggestions on the Platform; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.

16. Third-Party Links & Partner Platforms

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites and platforms, including Mother India Today (motherindiatoday.com) and The Life Navigator (thelifenavigator.com), both part of the Mother India Today (MIT) Group, as well as Razorpay, Google services, and others. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, products, or services of any third-party site. Access to such sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

17. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, internet or power outages, pandemics, government action, strikes, or courier/logistics disruptions.

18. Severability & Entire Agreement

• If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
• These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mother India School regarding use of the Platform, and supersede any prior agreements.
• Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of those rights.

19. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any user's access to the Platform, app, or live classes, without prior notice and without refund of any unused fees where permitted by law, in cases of: misuse of the Platform; violation of these Terms; abusive conduct toward staff, teachers, or other families; sharing of login credentials; or any activity we reasonably believe is fraudulent, harmful, or unlawful.
