What actually helps, and what quietly wastes your time.

Do

  • Master NCERT Biology line by line — a large share of NEET Biology questions are drawn almost directly from it.
  • Give Biology proportionally more time — it carries the highest weightage of the three subjects.
  • Practice MCQs daily rather than only reading theory passively.
  • Revise diagrams and exact NCERT phrasing, not just paraphrased notes.
  • Keep a running mistake notebook and revisit it weekly.

Avoid

  • Don't underestimate Physics numericals — they're often the difference-maker in close ranks.
  • Don't rely only on coaching notes without cross-checking against NCERT.
  • Don't skip labelled diagrams — they show up directly in questions.
  • Don't stack too many overlapping test series at once; it causes burnout without proportional gain.
  • Don't ignore your mental health during a long prep cycle — it's a marathon, not a single sprint.
